Journey to Aubrey Mei: February 2012

My precious daughter was christened today. What a blessing. I was so grateful that father Gordon baptized my baby. This was such a special day for my girl and her Mommy. She looked like an angel. Thank you Aunt Sharon (Aubrey's godmother) for the perfect dress for my little girl. Aubrey loved her dress -- she actually wore it for the entire party. Fit her like it was made special for her. Thank you Uncle Larry ( Aubrey's godfather) for her very special Celtic cross necklace - we love it. She wore her special cross bracelet from her Aunt Mary and could not stop playing with it all day - twirling it around her wrist and admiring it. She danced and danced around almost the whole time at her party-- thanks to cousin Lindsey and her great taste in music from her IPOD. Good thing she had her comfy and fashionable ballet slippers on from Aunt Mo --thanks also for the beautiful cross embroidered socks. Aubrey could not get enough of her yummy cake - thank you, Goppy. Thank you to everyone for being there for my girl, not only those of you that were able to attend the christening, but for all our family and friends who could not make it, but were thinking of my daughter on her special day. I felt everyone's presence today - including our angels in heaven. I sit here crying again, amazed at how blessed I am to have this incredible child in my life. What a gift from God she is. And how blessed are we to have such a wonderful family. Thank you to all my family and friends for loving my sweet Aubrey Mei Jing!! --- but what's not to love!
